The South Bahamas Conference Media Department recently concluded a month-long audio training session, which began on June 7 at Bahamas Academy on Marshall Road. The training was led by Elder Romanoff Bethel, an experienced audio engineer who has worked on various conference and school events for many years.

During the sessions, Elder Bethel guided participants through rigorous hands-on training, focusing on essential technical skills such as precise microphone placement, audio mixing, and the optimal operation of modern sound equipment.

The primary motivation for this audio training was the growing need to modernize local church audio departments. The goal is to ensure that the digital broadcast of the gospel is clear, seamless, and engaging for both in-person and online congregations. Elder Bethel emphasized the vital spiritual and practical importance of the audio team, noting that their technical expertise directly enhances the quality of weekly worship services and minimizes distractions during the delivery of the message.

Participants left the training session equipped with refined technical skills and a newfound appreciation for the dedication and hard work of audio teams in their local churches.
