In recognition of World Suicide Prevention Awareness Day, health officials, religious leaders, and community advocates gathered at the Hillview Seventh-day Adventist Church on September 10, for a national symposium focused on breaking the stigma surrounding mental health struggles among males. The symposium was organized by the Sandilands Rehabilitation Centre and the Public Hospitals Authority under the theme "Changing the Narrative: Men and Boys — Breaking the Silence and Building Hope".
