A few weeks ago, we shared the results of the Bible connection for the Pathfinder category. 

The adventurers and Adventist youth divisions also hosted Bible connections over the summer break. In the adventurer category, six brave biblical scholars virtually on August 12. The questions were based on the chapters from the book of Judges. 

The winners were Kwin Smith in third place from the Philadelphia church, Lael Burrows in second place from Hillview church, and Seon Durant from the South Andros district. It was a historic win as Durant became the first participant from the family islands to win a Bible connection. 

In the AY category, the six participants were: Keithen Simmons, from the New Englerston Church, Naydine Ascarment from the Bluff church in Eleuthera, Maygen Daley from the Grant’s town church, Joshelyn Wood from the Living Faith church, Astra Bowlin from the Hillview Church and Sanderline Sebelmar from the Bethel church. 

Congratulations are extended to all participants and special commendations go out to our Astra Bowlin who will represent the South Bahamas Conference during the Atlantic Caribbean Union’s Bible Connection, which will be held on September 30.
