In an uplifting week-long event, the youth of the South Bahamas Conference came together for a powerful revival from June 23rd-29th. Held at the Living Faith Church, under the theme 'Ignite: The Threshold', the revival aimed to inspire spiritual growth and renewal among young members of the congregation.

Throughout the week, the attendees enjoyed worship sessions and special presentations. Guest speaker Elder Rumeko Young, provided powerful sermons each evening, sharing the testimony of God’s power, the importance of prayer, and the joy of trusting in God.

Young said, “It’s not easy, but it takes courage to stand out, and with God you can have that. All you need to do is pray for it. Yesterday we spoke about those little, small efforts, but consistent small, efforts that produce big growth. You’ll be able to stand out and change the crowd, instead of you changing for the crowd.”

The service climaxed on the final day as Elder Young shared his final sermon where he encouraged those present to continue to connect to God while being a witness to others.

Young continued, “We serve a God that has won our victories, and all we have to do is to walk in the light of God, with Him at our side, because when He is at our side we’re attached to Him. And when we’re attached to Him, we can bear those fruit. Fruit that will lead others to Christ, fruit that will show others the God of love, and the God that we serve.”

The week’s revival resulted in five individuals deciding to publicly declare their commitment to their faith through the act of baptism. On behalf of the conference, we congratulate those who made the powerful step towards spiritual renewal and a deeper relationship with God.

The revival may have ended, but its impact will continue to resonate throughout the community for weeks to come. As the newly baptized individuals begin their journey of faith, the spirit of renewal and empowerment experienced during the revival will serve as a guiding light in their lives.
