On Saturday, December 2nd, the Breath of Life church hosted a powerful half-night vigil online, catered toward young people. Present were 70 plus attendees from within our conference and abroad.

Under the theme, "Order My Steps in Your Word Lord," each participating church, comprising of the host church, Gambier, Good News, New Englerston, Hillview, and the Movement Church from Maryland, USA, was allocated thirty minutes to emphasize the night’s theme.

Amara Greene, representing the Good News church, encouraged the young people to focus on developing their spiritual journeys while remaining connected to God.

Greene said, "Do not allow my story to become yours. When your time comes to prove that you are right with God, do not allow yourself to be shamed by the words, depart from me, I never knew you. Be consistent in your prayers to keep your relationship with God".

Desmond Bowleg Jr. from the New Englerston Church spoke of the avenues in which young people can order their steps through seeking wisdom and understanding from God.

Bowleg Jr. said, "It can come from conversing with our parents who God has put on this earth to mold us, it can come from conversing with the leaders for our respective churches, or even gain understanding from like-minded youth in our church groups who may have previously experienced or are experiencing some of the situations that we are. The most important and powerful tool that we have at our disposal is the The Word of God."

We are elated to witness the enthusiasm of our young people in The Word of God.
