One of the culminating events at the 'Ingite' Youth program was the investiture service of the 2024 Masterguides cohort. The one-year training program successfully saw the completion of 19 females and 9 males, making this unit one of the largest classes in recent years.

At the service, Youth Director Pastor Jamal Franklyn shared with those in attendance that the Masterguides platform is the highest-level program within the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Franklyn expressed, “All of them have been screened by the Royal Bahamas Police Force, the Royal Bahamas Defence Force. All of them have completed their first aid training with validity for the next three years. And we are so proud of the work that they have been doing and continue to do.”

Among the recruits, the top female award was presented to Markena Clayton, and the top male prize went to Shavano Mullings of the Berea Church. During the investiture service, the new masterguides also showcased knot-tying skills to prepare them for end times.

At the end of the presentations, the 26 candidates were officially declared Masterguides by Pastor Jamal Franklyn.

Franklyn exclaimed, “Masterguides, present arms! Masterguides, order arms! I do declare today that you are now invested Masterguides in the South Bahamas Conference, in the Atlantic Caribbean Union of Seventh-day Adventists. Invested to save, and invested to serve.”
