The Seventh-day Adventist church has been given a divine mandate to share God’s message of hope in a time of unprecedented uncertainties and great perplexities. The pandemic has disrupted the global village. As a result, leaders everywhere are diligently seeking ways to provide a level of hope to humanity.

But the reality is men in their utmost endeavors can only provide that which is temporary. As a mission-driven church, we have been ordained by God to share a message of hope. A message that will turn the attention of men from that which is temporal to that which is of transcendent value.

Having understood the urgent need to share this message of transcendent value, On October 1st, 2023, the Personal Ministries department of the South Bahamas Conference will launch Impact 300 under the theme: “THE GREAT HOPE”. This evangelistic initiative has been intentionally planned to engage both Pastors and the laity to win 300 hundred souls for the Kingdom.  Against this backdrop, Pastors and lay preachers across our conference territory will present the unadulterated word of God with passion, conviction, and power under the influence of the Holy Spirit.

Ellen G. White posits, “The work of God in this earth can never be finished until men and women comprising our church membership rally to the work and unite their efforts with those of ministers and church officers” Testimonies, vol. 9, p. 117.

We have all been called and equipped to bring people to Christ. With much prayer and deliberate effort, we can achieve this goal of 300 souls to the glory of God. Let us be passionate about this great hope that burns within our hearts that Jesus is coming again. This message of hope in a chaotic world should be shared and preached with greater enthusiasm and excitement.

Ellen G. White includes, “The coming of the Lord has been in all ages the hope of His true followers. Amid suffering and persecution, the “appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ” was the “blessed hope.” The Great Hope, p.40.

May God bless our efforts as we allow the Holy Spirit to use us to bring others into a saving relationship with Jesus. May we all be empowered by Christ to impact 300 souls with the Good News of Salvation for the Kingdom.
