Representatives of the Adventist Laymen Services and Industries, the Adventist Health Professionals Association, and some of the newly trained medical missionary graduates of LIGHT by Wildwood, traveled to North Andros to share Christ through the right hand of the gospel, the health message.

On April 5th the team visited the Huntley P. Christie High School, where Dr. Idamae Hanna shared health tips with the staff and students. On Sabbath, the team celebrated Health Emphasis Day with Pastor Lee and Deion Burrows, Health Ministry leader Belinda Rolle, and the officers and members of the Lowe Sound Adventist church.

During the service, several ASi members of the church received their official ASi pins and special LIGHT booklet. ASi Bahamas President Ian Greene presented the sermon. In the afternoon, the team traveled to the Red Bay community where they conducted a mini health expo at the primary school, and visited the sick and shut-in. The group concluded their trip with a health expo, where many persons received health checks inclusive of eye tests. They were also introduced to a biblical approach to health using the 'NEWSTART' application and received valuable knowledge as they explored a giant colon. There was also free health counseling, literature, and prayers, and the children in attendance were also taught health principals in a unique and fun way.

During the weekend the group praised God for His protection from the forest fires that were kept abated during their stay and for the many lives that were touched and changed in North Andros.
