In an exhilarating demonstration of youthful passion and unwavering faith, the South Bahamas Conference Youth Department hosted a series of youth evangelistic meetings from June 18-July 1st. Under the theme "From Bitter to Better", this evangelistic outreach was held at the New Providence church and offered an opportunity for young hearts and minds to experience the transformative power of God's love.

During the 2-week series, the program consisted of inspiring worship songs, and engaging health tips from the youth in our churches. The sermons were delivered by Youth Director Pastor Jamal Franklyn and Pastor Manasseh Simms of the Ephesus and Peardale churches.

Both pastors shared their life experiences and how God was able to transform them to vessels used for ministry. Pastor Simms reminded the youth that it is important to stay grounded in Christ in moments when we feel discouraged.

The youth crusade also highlighted students in honor of PCM day. During that special service, students were prayed for along with youth leader Chante Deal.

The series concluded with 12 individuals making the decision to be baptized and transformed by his grace. A special prayer was made for the youth to remain dedicated to the work of Christ.

The youth evangelistic meetings provide a safe and inclusive space for young individuals to discover and deepen their faith. Embracing diversity, the Church welcomes participants from various backgrounds, cultures, and even different denominations. This ecumenical approach not only fosters unity but also emphasizes the universality of God's love and the transformative power of the gospel.

It is the hope of the Youth Ministries Department that the seeds planted during this transformative event take root and flourish throughout the attendees' lives.
