For four days Children and Adolescent Ministries Director, Kenisha Simms and Assistant Director Cindy Stewart hosted a C.H.A.M. weekend from June 1st - 5th, 2024, on the islands of Crooked Island & Acklins.

The sermon was delivered by Director Simms, who preached a simple but powerful message on the boundless love of God. She shared that God is the ultimate superhero with the name Fiercely Faithful because He is always faithful to his promises.

Sunday June 2nd was dubbed craft day where the agenda was to encourage creativity amongst the children in attendance, and a spiritual lesson was associated with each craft.

A.Y Leader of the Lovely Bay Seventh-day Adventist church Mrs. Kaylisa Glinton shares on how the day went.

According to Glinton, "We had a wonderful time today doing activities with the kids where we did a pot for our seeds that we are going to plant, and we’re gonna do an update on our flowers in a few weeks. As well as we made crowns for our prince and our princesses in Crooked Island, Bahamas, as well as we did a rainbow. And do you know what the rainbow means? The rainbow is a wonderful promise from God promising to never flood the earth again. And I hope that you love Jesus, and you continue to watch Aunty K [Children's Program] and continue to learn more and more about God‘s love us."

Believing in reaching out to the community, the Directors visited Acklins on Monday, June 3rd to read to the students at the Lovely Bay Primary School where they were excitedly welcomed.

Not to be left out, Aunty K and Aunty Cindy continued their reading outreach program by visiting the Ulric H. Ferguson Primary School in Crooked Island on Tuesday June 4th engaging the students with their story telling.

The 4-day church and community trip was reportedly filled with meaningful connections and support.
