The Adventist-Laymen’s Services and Industries (ASI) Bahamas, in partnership with the New Englerston Seventh-day Adventist Church Personal Ministries Department, successfully hosted the Evangelism Rush: Publishing and Literature Evangelism Training 2025 on Sunday, October 12th and 19th, 2025, at The New Englerston Church.

Held under the theme “Involved in the Mission of Spreading the Word of God like the Leaves of Autumn,” the training aimed to inspire and equip members to engage in practical evangelism through literature distribution and community outreach.

Approximately 20 participants—including youth, young adults, and church members—attended the two-part training. The sessions were led by dynamic presenters Inara and Ivana Miller, who brought energy, creativity, and a deep passion for sharing Christ through practical ministry. Participants were trained in numerous areas, including Sharing Jesus through Christian Literature, Meeting Needs through Health and Wellness Outreach, and Building Friendships Through Ministry.

The Millers emphasized that evangelism is not limited to the pulpit but is best demonstrated through daily acts of kindness and service. Their presentations inspired attendees to view every encounter as an opportunity to share God’s love.

One participant shared, “This training reminded me that ministry begins with compassion. Every smile, every word of encouragement, and every visit can become a seed planted for eternity.”
