As we celebrate Creation Sabbath, Dr. Ronald Nalin will present on the topic of Faith and Science at a special lecture series on Saturday, October 23, 2021, at 11:00a.m. and 4:30p.m.

Ronald Nalin is a sedimentary geologist who holds a doctoral degree in earth sciences from the University of Padova, Italy. He has worked as a research scientist at the Geoscience Research Institute since 2007 and currently serves as its director. He is also Assistant Professor of Geology in the Earth and Biological Sciences at Loma Linda University, California. His academic interests focus on the sedimentology and stratigraphy of shallow-water marine deposits such as those in The Bahamas. Modern examples of this class of sediments, which are also encountered in the rock layers of the earth, have been instrumental in interpreting the rock record. He has published several papers in international journals of sedimentary geology.
