The churches in the South Bahamas Conference celebrated Youth Month in July with multiple evangelistic series led by talented young individuals. The Bethany church was the first to launch their evangelistic series from June 30th to July 6th, under the theme 'Lifted'. The services were filled each evening with heartfelt songs of praise along with dynamic sermons from Pastor Terry Tanis, Youth Director of the Atlantic Caribbean Union.

Pastor Tanis assured the congregation of God’s ability to always fulfill his promises and reminded them to remain anchored in him.

Tanis expressed, “Many of God's promises do not depend on our character, but on His faithfulness. It doesn't depend on our character, it depends on His faithfulness. God will bless you, because God is a faithful God. God will provide for you, because God is a merciful God. God will deliver you not because of what you've done, just because he is God all by Himself. He is a sovereign God. He is a merciful God. God can stand in your situation because He's a deliverer all by Himself.”

Tanis concluded the week-long series with a powerful word, reminding the members and guests of the redemptive power of  Christ.

Tanis continued, “When He looks at us, He looks at us through the prism of Jesus Christ. Covered in the blood of Jesus, cleansed in the blood of Jesus, forgiven in the blood of Jesus, redeemed it in the blood of Jesus, lifted through Jesus.”

The New Providence Church also hosted its youth series from July 14th-20th, with speakers Kenny Brown and Reagen Rockbury, under the theme 'All is Not Lost'. They encouraged the audience to trust in God and have faith during difficult times, emphasizing the unwavering love and grace of Jesus,  and they encouraged the members that no matter their past or current struggles, God is always present and willing to help.

We praise God for using the youth to spearhead these special series as well as the churches for encouraging their youth to lead out in more evangelism efforts. Next week we will highlight more churches and their youth evangelistic series that were held in July.
