The Living Faith Seventh-day Adventist Church became a sanctuary of spiritual enlightenment and renewal as it hosted the C.H.A.M Week of Prayer Weekend from Friday, October 13th, to Saturday, October 16th. The event featured the Youth Director for the South Bahamas Conference, Pastor Jamal Franklyn, as the key speaker. Under the theme, "I Will Go to be His Witness", Pastor Franklyn used the Bible story of Noah and the Ark as his guiding narrative, captivating the hearts and minds of attendees.

Throughout the weekend, Pastor Franklyn's sermons delved into the themes of faith, witness, and unwavering commitment to God's call. The story of Noah, chosen as the central Biblical character, served as an inspiration for modern-day believers to persevere in their faith and be a testament to God's grace.

Friday evening marked the commencement of this spiritual journey, with the Living Faith Seventh-day Adventist Church filled with children and parents eager to embark on a weekend of reflection and dedication. Pastor Franklyn's sermon encouraged attendees to be bold witnesses of their faith, echoing the theme of the event. The message was impactful, reminding all present of their duty to be a shining example of God's love and grace.

Sabbath continued with a day of high praise as children throughout the South Bahamas Conference gathered once more at the Living Faith Seventh-day Adventist Church. The young ministers took charge of the Divine Hour and used their gifts and talents for God. Pastor Franklyn, during his sermon, used the illustration of a toy car to paint the picture that without Jesus in our lives, we can’t move into our purpose.

Franklyn said, "This is a car it represents our life. Can the car move on its own? Somebody has to move the car. Do we live for ourselves? No, can we live without the holy spirit? No, because we breathe in the breath of life that comes from God alone because, we cannot exist without God..."

One of the most significant highlights of the weekend occurred during the concluding service on Sabbath where 9 children made the life-altering decision to publicly declare their commitment to God through the act of baptism. This moving demonstration of faith was a powerful reminder of the spiritual impact and transformation taking place within the C.H.A.M Department.

As the weekend concluded, those who attended left the church with a renewed sense of purpose and commitment to their faith to go and be His witnesses.
