Bahamas Academy held its annual Baccalaureate Service on June 7th, 2024 at the Hillview Adventist church. The service marked a significant milestone for the Platinum Class of 2024 as they reflected on their academic journey and praised God for guiding them through their school years.

Deputy Head girl, Kyra Williams shared an inspiring testimony of her time at the Adventist institution. Williams revealed she recognized her potential through her academic journey which brought her closer to God.

Williams said, "I studied, laughed, got a bit angry, and nonchalantly brushed some things off, but I also learned the many valuable lessons about having a Christ centered relationship, and learning the personalities of people today. That's when I found my potential, that's when I soared to new heights, heights greater than myself, but heights that was in God's plan."

The guest speaker for the service was Pastor Leonardo Rahming, Executive Secretary of the South Bahamas Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. Rahming encouraged the students to commit their plans to God, which requires humility, faith and, obedience.

Rahming said, "God is going to give you wisdom, He is going to give you guidance, and He will keep you in every which way. We ought to commit our plants onto the Lord. Listen to me, it means that you must have a surrendered will to God. If you are going to be successful in this world, and in the world to come, you can't take things simply as they are, you must allow God to guide you every step of the way.

Pastor Lynden Williams delivered a prayer for guidance, success, and blessings for the graduating class of 2024 as they embark on their future endeavors.
