Logos for February 1, 2020--Tips for Ministering to the Sick and Dying. Ministering to the sick and dying are great opportunities to demonstrate unconditional love, but it is also scary. It is often scary because many do not know what to do or say when someone is sick or dying. Even though ministry to the sick and/or dying should be understood as a natural part of the Gospel, this caring ministry does not come naturally or by happenstance.

Logos for January 25, 2020--A Healthy Start. Prospering in Health Through Christ Our Soon Coming King’ is the theme of the Health Ministries Department for this year. It is important to keep our health at a level that is optimal so that Christ can use us for His glory. Currently, the prevalence of illness is at an all-time high within the church. I encourage you to make some lifestyle changes so that you can truly proposer in health and be an agent of change in preparing souls for Christ, Our Soon Coming King.

Logos for January 18, 2020--Adventists and Religious Liberty. Many have had the “great” experience of driving in your car when, suddenly, behind you blue and red light flash, and then the sound of a siren fills your ears.
You pull over, an officer approaches and, after a few minutes, you are the proud owner of a ticket for a traffic violation, which, of course, you have to pay or else face even worse consequences. Now, what does this have to do with why Seventh-day Adventists have been strong promoters of religious freedom and the separation of church and state?

At ASi International Convention, Mark Finley called members to refocus and recommit. “There are times we forget the obvious,” said Mark Finley in his keynote address on the closing day of the 2018 Adventist Laymen’s Services and Industries (ASi) international convention in Orlando, Florida, United States, on August 4. It is the reason, the long-time evangelist said, we often need friendly reminders.

Logos for January 4, 2020--A New Year's Message: 'Be Courageous'. As we enter this brand, New Year no doubt some persons will do so with much trepidation, as the Year comes with 8,784 hours of the unknown and much uncertainty, but most of all, the New Year comes with possibilities. Yet, God reminds us to be courageous and not fearful because HE goes before us as promised in Deuteronomy 31:6-8. There is no doubt that we will be faced with the same challenges and difficulties as before and even more so as we near the end of time.
