Dear Pathfinders, Dedicated Staff, Parents, and Beloved Church Family,

Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

On this special World Pathfinder Day, I extend warm greetings to you from the General Conference and from millions of Pathfinders around the world—united by faith, purpose, and mission. Today, we celebrate more than a ministry; we celebrate the Pathfinder movement—walking together, learning together, serving together, and listening for God’s voice.

Our theme this year, “Speak, Lord,” is both simple and profoundly powerful. It echoes the humble prayer of the young boy Samuel: “Speak, Lord, for Your servant is listening.” In a world filled with competing voices, this theme calls us back to the center—to hearts that listen for God above all else.

To our Pathfinders: God knows your name, just as He knew Samuel’s. He is not waiting for you to be older, stronger, or more experienced before He speaks. God speaks to young people—through His Word, through prayer, through godly mentors, and through the gentle prompting of the Holy Spirit. As you march, camp, study, and serve, remember that you are not merely learning skills for life—you are learning how to hear and follow God’s voice.

To our Pathfinder leaders and staff: Thank you for being instruments through whom God often speaks. Your patience, consistency, and godly example help shape ears that are attentive to heaven and hearts that are open to God’s leading. Never underestimate the eternal impact of your investment in a young life.

To our parents and families: Thank you for entrusting the Pathfinder ministry with your children. Your prayers, encouragement, and support help create an environment where faith can grow. When children hear God’s voice, it is often because loving adults first taught them how to listen.

And to our church members worldwide: Thank you for believing in this ministry. The Pathfinder Club is not entertainment—it is discipleship. It is God preparing a generation to stand, to serve, and to respond when He calls.

As we celebrate today, may this be more than a program or a ceremony. May it be a renewed commitment—for children, youth, and adults alike—to pause, to listen, and to respond in obedience when God speaks. May our prayer, individually and collectively, be the prayer of Samuel: “Speak, Lord, for Your servant is listening.” Happy World Pathfinder Day!
