On May 16, 2026, Adventurer Clubs across the South Bahamas Conference of Seventh-day Adventists will join children around the world in celebrating World Adventurer Day under the global theme, “Walking With Jesus.” This special day highlights the importance of helping children build a personal relationship with Christ while developing spiritually, socially, and emotionally in a Christ-centered environment.

The Adventurer Ministry is more than a children’s club program. It is a ministry designed to help children understand that Jesus desires to walk with them every day—in their homes, schools, churches, and communities. Through worship, learning activities, fellowship, and service, Adventurers are encouraged to grow in faith and discover that they are never too young to serve God.

Throughout the South Bahamas Conference, local churches will host special Sabbath morning programs led by their Adventurer Clubs. Children will participate in worship through Scripture reading, music, prayers, presentations, and other meaningful expressions of ministry. Dressed proudly in their uniforms and scarves, these young disciples will serve as joyful reminders that God is raising up a generation committed to following Him.

The celebration will continue with a joint afternoon program at Berea Seventh-day Adventist Church at 5:00 p.m., where Adventurer Clubs and families from across the conference will gather for worship, fellowship, and celebration. The program will provide an opportunity for Adventurers to connect with one another while celebrating the blessings and impact of the ministry throughout the field.

Special activities will also continue on May 17 with Adventurer field trips taking place in Nassau, Andros, and Eleuthera. These experiences will include opportunities for exploration, learning, fellowship, and recreation while encouraging teamwork, curiosity, and appreciation for God’s creation.

This year’s theme, “Walking With Jesus,” serves as an important reminder that spiritual development begins early. In a world filled with distractions and competing influences, Adventurer Ministry helps guide children toward a daily friendship with Jesus and teaches them that faith is not only something learned at church, but something lived every day.

As the South Bahamas Conference celebrates World Adventurer Day 2026, may every child, parent, leader, and church family be encouraged to continue walking with Jesus daily—growing in faith, showing kindness, and shining His light wherever they go.
