Dear Delegates, Pastors, Church Leaders, Members, and Friends,

With profound gratitude to Almighty God and joy in His Church’s mission, we warmly welcome you to the Seventh Quadrennial Session of the South Bahamas Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, held at the Hillview Seventh-day Adventist Church. Our theme, "Commissioned for Mission," reminds us of our divine assignment: to proclaim the everlasting gospel, make disciples, serve humanity, and prepare the world for the soon return of Jesus Christ. This sacred calling gives purpose to our service and direction to our future.

As we reflect on the past quadrennium, we acknowledge the challenges, transitions, opportunities, and abundant blessings that have shaped our journey. Through every circumstance, God has remained faithful, sustaining His Church and blessing the dedicated service of our pastors, departmental leaders, educators, administrators, employees, church officers, volunteers, and members. To each of you, we express our sincere appreciation for your commitment, sacrifice, and partnership in ministry. For all that has been accomplished, we give God the glory.

This Session offers a sacred opportunity to celebrate God's leading and prayerfully discern His direction for the years ahead. Much remains to be done as we strengthen our churches and institutions, deepen our community engagement, advance evangelism, and nurture the next generation. We encourage every delegate and participant to approach our deliberations with prayerfulness, humility, a willingness to listen, and Christian fellowship.

May the Holy Spirit guide our discussions, the love of Christ shape our conversations, and the advancement of God's kingdom direct our decisions.

Our prayer is that this gathering will inspire spiritual renewal, strengthen our unity, and deepen our commitment to mission. May we leave commissioned anew, ready to build up the Church, serve our communities, share the gospel, and prepare ourselves and others for the soon return of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
