The membership of the South Bahamas Conference of Seventh-day Adventists was saddened as we witnessed the devastation caused by Hurricane Melissa across the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Jamaica, Cuba, and the Southern and Central Bahamas. Many families have lost their homes, livelihoods, and, in some cases, loved ones. Communities are struggling to access the bare necessities and are faced with uncertain futures amidst overwhelming damage.

Now, more than ever, our brothers and sisters in these affected Caribbean countries need our compassion, prayers, and generous support. Therefore, we are calling upon all members, churches, and communities throughout the South Bahamas Conference to unite in a spirit of love and selflessness to answer this call to give whatever you can toward the relief efforts.

Your financial support will provide emergency shelter, food, clean water, medical supplies, and other essential resources. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings hope and comfort to those in desperate need.

Let us embody the teachings of Christ by extending a helping hand to those who are in need. Please prayerfully consider donating through the official channels of the South Bahamas Conference, such as the tithe envelope or online giving via the SBC Conference’s website. Your generosity will make a tangible difference in the lives of our friends and neighbors across the Caribbean.

Thank you for your kindness, your prayers, and your unwavering faith in action.
