The Seventh-day Adventist Church is preparing to enter a significant new chapter in its global mission with the official launch of One Voice 27, a General Conference initiative designed to unite the worldwide church in proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Scheduled for Sabbath, September 5, 2026, the launch marks the beginning of a coordinated global movement that will culminate in September 2027, when Adventists worldwide will unite in a special emphasis on mission, evangelism, discipleship, and the proclamation of the everlasting gospel.

One Voice 27 is built around a simple but powerful conviction: the church can be diverse in culture, language, geography, and methodology while remaining united in its message and mission. The initiative calls every member, congregation, ministry, institution, and communication platform to participate in sharing the hope found in Jesus Christ.

General Conference leaders have emphasized that One Voice 27 is not simply another church program. It is a mission for all. Every believer is invited to recognize that he or she has a role in fulfilling the Great Commission. Whether through preaching, teaching, literature, radio, television, social media, digital platforms, personal relationships, community outreach, or Bible study, every avenue can become a means of introducing people to Jesus.

At the heart of the initiative are four important emphases: Communion with God, Identity in Christ, Unity through the Holy Spirit, and Mission for All. These pillars remind the church that effective mission begins with a personal relationship with Christ and flows outward into service and evangelism.

The year 2027 carries particular significance because it marks approximately 2,000 years since the baptism of Jesus and the beginning of His public ministry. The initiative therefore looks toward this milestone as an opportunity for Adventists worldwide to unite their voices and efforts in lifting up Christ and proclaiming His message of hope.

Importantly, One Voice 27 does not require every territory to use identical methods. Instead, the global church will unite around the same Christ-centered mission while allowing local conferences, churches, and members to communicate that message in ways that are culturally relevant and meaningful to their communities.

The official launch is therefore more than a date on the church calendar. It is an invitation to action. Churches are being encouraged to pray, plan, engage their communities, utilize every available communication channel, and intentionally prepare for a worldwide emphasis on proclaiming Jesus.

As the Seventh-day Adventist Church moves toward September 2027, the challenge is clear: different places, different cultures, different gifts—but one Lord, one gospel, and One Voice.

The call has gone out. The mission belongs to everyone. One Voice 27: Mission for All. Please mark September 26, 2026, on your calendar!
