World Adventurer Day is here again, and what a fantastic opportunity it is to celebrate our youngest members and the incredible ways they are growing in Christ. When some of us were your age, the Adventurer Club didn’t exist.

It was only in the late 1980s that this ministry was established to nurture children in the faith, providing them with essential life skills and spiritual growth opportunities. Since then, Adventurers have become a vital part of our church, reminding us that children are a significant part of God’s family and mission.

This year, our conference theme is “Travel with Faith,” inspired by Hebrews 11:1, which reminds us that “faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” Just like a GPS directs us on a road trip, faith in God guides us on our spiritual journey. Hebrews 11:6 further underscores that without faith, it is impossible to please God. Whether it was Abraham trusting God to leave his homeland, Samuel hearing God’s call as a young boy, or Naaman dipping in the Jordan to be healed, their faith led them to remarkable outcomes. Today, God invites every Adventurer to travel with faith, trusting that He will guide them every step of the way.

Local churches are encouraged to involve their Adventurers in morning services, giving them a chance to lead and participate in the worship experience. Then, in the afternoon, join us at 4:30 PM at Living Faith SDA Church for the joint conference program. It will be a time of celebration, singing, and uplifting messages designed to inspire our Adventurers to keep traveling with faith.

The celebration continues Sunday, May 18, at the Breath of Life SDA Church grounds with the Adventurer Cultural Exhibition. From 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, our Adventurers will embark on a global adventure, experiencing the culture, history, and customs of six countries in a fun, interactive, and dramatic way. It will be a day filled with excitement, learning, and unforgettable moments. Let’s make this World Adventurer Day a memorable experience for our children. Let’s cheer them on as they travel with faith, trusting God to lead them in every step of their journey. Happy Adventurer Day to all! May God bless you as you walk in faith and share His love with others.
