To the South Bahamas Conference members and Word SBC 88.3 FM devoted listeners, the station’s silence has indeed disrupted our trusted source of daily encouragement, uplifting music, and spirit-filled programming. As the radio tower's restoration progresses, this downtime offers a chance for growth, reflection, and strengthening our faith.

Radio waves work in a remarkable way: although we cannot see the signal traveling in the air, we trust that when we tune in to the message, it will be there. Faith works in the same way. Hebrews 11:1 reminds us, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."

We understand the frustration of missing programs like Morning Joy and Your Story Hour. Though the tower is down, God's message continues, urging us to trust Him through this period. Even off-air, we can keep our hearts tuned in:

Pray purposefully: As the Conference works tirelessly to repair the infrastructure, we thank you all for the continued prayers, encouragement, and support. We ask that you lift the technicians and teams working behind the scenes in prayer.

Rediscover gratitude: We don’t always realize how much something means to us until it is gone. This "intermission" reminds us to truly appreciate the gift of Word SBC 88.3fm.

Stand together in faith: This silence will not last forever. The day is coming when 88.3 FM will once again fill the airwaves with the Three Angels’ Message.

And when it does, may it find a people whose faith has grown even stronger in the quiet.
