Logos for May 30, 2020--Nurses Appreciation Month: Caring for the Caregivers. The advent of this COVID19 global pandemic has created an increased awareness as to the priceless value of nurses. As a nurse leader, it is a sheer delight to see the heroic and selfless performance of the nurses from all sectors of our healthcare system. When the call went out for healthcare workers to serve on the frontline, nurses immediately rose to the challenge. The nurses came forward to do what we do best ---caring for others.

Logos for May 23, 2020--Six Lessons Form The Coronavirus. The world is settling into a  new normal, defined by an invisible virus that managed to find its way to almost every country on earth. It has confined hundreds of millions of people to their homes and made it almost impossible to go about their business and make a living. As the new uncertainties of life settle in, our generation is forced to learn some painful lessons.1. Crisis can come out of nowhere. At first the world knew next to nothing about the Chinese region of Hubei. But in today’s interconnected world something happening anywhere can disrupt life everywhere.

Logos for May 16, 2020--Women's Ministries: "Sisters for Sisters". What was “normal” just two months ago is drastically different now. Going to work has changed. Going to church has changed. Going grocery shopping has changed. Interacting with family and friends has changed. To sum it all up, life has drastically changed. With any type of change, our natural inclination is to switch into “what if mode”. What if I don’t make the change? What if I don’t like the change? What If I don’t survive the change? This scenario describes many, if not most of us. Our reaction, our response, our state of mind. We are all human and, in our humanness, there are times, especially in times of crisis, we not only forget who we are, but whose we are. Who are we? God’s Beloved Daughters.

Logos for May 9, 2020--Connect With God. As we continue in  this our "new normal," I was  contemplating the   positives in all of this negative. I am convinced evil has been turned around for good. In the past we hustled and bustled for much of the day and night, we even coined the phrase 24/7 and was so busy that very often we forgot to spend time with our GOD. So God, in His mercy and grace, used this pandemic to slow us down so that we could again smell the roses, talk with our family members and friends, and connect with HIM.

Logos for May 2, 2020--Coping Through the Financial Strain of COVID19. As we  navigate this unpredictable time in our world, we must be reminded of the promises of our Heavenly Father.  He has promised to never leave us and to stick closer than a brother. Many of us have been placed in financial situations that we have never seen before. This requires that we be prepared to do some things that we have never done before. The first thing to keep in mind is to remember that God is still in control and we are to continue to put Him first in all things (Prov. 3:9).  He still requires us to be faithful.
