IAD ASI 2026 Convention held in the Dominican Republic

Nearly three hundred Seventh-day Adventist business owners, healthcare professionals, executives, and ministry leaders recently gathered in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, for the 2026 Adventist Laymen’s Services and Industries’ Inter-America Convention. Under the theme "Living in Purpose," delegates representing 53 chapters across 28 countries met to examine how lay leaders can transform faith into real-world marketplace action.

Bahamian Missionary couple participates in International Outreach Ministry

Nine teams of missionaries from unions across the Inter-America Division traveled to communities throughout the territory of French Guiana to share the hope of the gospel through evangelism and community outreach for the division’s annual VividFaith mission initiative held July 15-26. Representing the Atlantic Caribbean Union were South Bahamas Conference Youth Director Pastor Manasseh Simms and Children's and Adolescent Ministries Director Kenisha Simms.

Youth department hosts ‘Voices Unlocked’ Speech Competition

The South Bahamas Conference Youth Ministries Department hosted its annual speech competition, "Voices Unlocked: Speaking Faith, Courage, and Mission," at the Grant’s Town Seventh-day Adventist Church on August 1. The event brought together Adventurers, Pathfinders, and Adventist Youth contestants from Nassau and the Family Islands, alongside parents, church leaders, and community supporters.
