Wholistic Lifestyle successfully hosted its 2nd Annual 'Step Into Wellness' Fun, Run, Walk and health assessment on January 12th at Goodman’s Bay, bringing together community members and health partners in support of wellness and disease prevention.

The event, which began at 6:00 a.m., was organized by Wholistic Lifestyle owners Nathelyn and Osmond LaCroix, with Nathelyn LaCroix serving as Event Coordinator. Health partners included the CNCD Unit of the Ministry of Health and Wellness, Thompson Trading, Healthy Lifestyle and Deli, Lightbourne Trading, and massage therapists. Participants ranged in age from 7 to 78, with runners traveling from Goodman’s Bay to Sandy Port and back, while walkers went to Quality Supermarket and returned. Following the race, participants received health screenings, visited informational booths, and interacted with wellness professionals. Gift bags were presented to all participants.

The initiative aimed to promote healthier lifestyle choices and address preventable diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, and chronic respiratory illnesses. Organizers described the event as a success, reinforcing the importance of lifestyle-based prevention and community wellness. Wholistic Lifestyle remains committed to improving health outcomes through education, movement, and preventive care.
