In the world of fairytales, everything is perfect.Perfect children. Perfect marriages. Perfect jobs. Perfect lives. This world is perfect, and it does not take effort, if any at all, to exclaim “life is good, and God is good”! Inevitably, sleep is disturbed by the reality that it was only a dream.

How many of us would choose to stay in a state of sleep, if it meant that the world, we lived in was as a perfect dream?

Unruly children. Disastrous marriages. Dead-end or lost jobs. Living through a pandemic. Loved ones dying. How much effort would it take, if any at all, to still exclaim “life is good in spite of, and God is still good?”

Dear sisters, if we were to take a moment and reflect on the blessings and mercies of God in our lives, there would be no question of the goodness of God.

This weekend, God’s Beloved Daughters of the South Bahamas Conference are gathered virtually, “Pressing on in Faith”, as we reminisce on how faithful He has been to us over this past year. We do this only by the power of His Word.

1 Chronicles 16:34 encourages us to give thanks unto the Lord for He is good, and His mercies endure forever.

Mark 10:18 declares to us that no one is good but One, and that is God.

Psalms 25:8 reminds us that good and upright is the Lord.

So, is God really good? We declare that He is, and to borrow words from the song by CeCe Winans, “His goodness is running after us.”

Be blessed as we experience “Him” this weekend.
