Earlier this month, the youth department hosted its local Bible Connection for the Adventurers and Pathfinder divisions. On November 1st , the participants and supporters gathered online and at Redemption Church to complete questions based on the book of Luke and Desire of Ages. In the adventurer category, seven brave adventurers represented their churches.

The winners were Akiel Wilson in third place from Hillview Church, Dinero Smith in second place from Centreville church, and Taraj Uriz in first from New Providence Church.

In the Pathfinder category, the four participants were, Kali-Ryan Butler of Grant’s Town Church, Frandeleine Pierre of the Bluff Church, Eric Miller of New Providence Church, and Joel Joseph of Maranatha church.

After the pathfinders completed their three rounds, Frandeleine Pierre was announced as the winner followed by Joel Joseph and Eric Miller. Congratulations are extended to all participants as they continue to study God’s word.

Special commendations also go out to our Astra Bowlin, who represented the Atlantic Caribbean Union at the Inter-American Division’s Bible Connection, which was held on November 15th in Trinidad and Tobago. Bowlin, along with the finalists from the region’s 25 unions completed 100 multiple-choice questions on the Book of Luke and selected chapters from The Desire of Ages (chapters 12, 25, and 86).

On behalf of the youth department, we say thank you to parents and youth leaders for training all the participants to study God’s Word.
