A place where they not only learn about the Bible but experience it in order to grow spiritually. Our ministry to them must be one that provides worship, teaching and fun activities that expose them to the word of God and challenge them to develop a meaningful relationship with Him. This can only be realized if at our churches we have ‘missionary volunteers’ who are passionate and eager to be the vehicle in molding these young minds.

I wonder what they will do when this newer version will no longer be the latest? There are many explanations for that reality, but the underlying issue goes beyond the appeal for new inventions. Something more fundamental is at play: contentment, a state of mind that can also infiltrate other areas of life.

One of the most totalitarian governments in eastern Europe was the regime in eastern Germany. This regime was particularly harsh in dealing with dissenters. It was in 1985 that a small group of Christians formed a church in Germany and thus started a prayer movement. Even though initially the movement was small they met consistently, faithfully, every Monday evening.
